Youth in Landscape Initiative (YIL)

Youth in Landscape Initiative (YIL) is a dynamic non-profit organization dedicated to fostering positive change for people and landscapes across the globe. As a vibrant, youth-led network, YIL connects over 1.3 million individuals who are passionate about environmental advocacy and ecosystem restoration. The organization is driven by a steering committee comprising four global youth-led entities specializing in biodiversity, climate, food, and forests: the International Forestry Students’ Association (IFSA), the Young Professionals for Agricultural Development (YPARD), the Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN), and Youth4Nature.

Located at Charles-de-Gaulle-Straße 5, Bonn, 53113, DE, Youth in Landscape Initiative (YIL) serves as a primary youth partner and a charter member of the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF).
