The Tiger Reserve covers 1,340 square km in Pahang and works to conserve Malayan tigers in their natural habitat.
Al-Sultan Abdullah Royal Tiger Reserve is dedicated to the conservation of Malayan tigers within their natural habitat. Covering 1,340 square km in Pahang, the Reserve operates under the patronage of HRH The Regent of Pahang Crown Prince Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, with Enggang Management Services overseeing operations in partnership with Perbadanan Taman Negeri Pahang (PTNP). Expert partners including BORA, Nature-Based Solutions, Panthera, and The Habitat Foundation bring essential skills in prey augmentation, protected area management, enforcement, and community engagement.
Strategically located adjacent to Taman Negara National Park in the Greater Taman Negara Forest Complex, Al-Sultan Abdullah Royal Tiger Reserve significantly expands the core tiger habitat in one of Malaysia's largest and most important tiger landscapes. With a current area of 92,649.33 hectares, and further expansion planned to 134,183 hectares, the reserve is at the forefront of tiger conservation efforts in the region. This project represents a pioneering public-private partnership in Peninsular Malaysia.
The reserve's funding supports crucial interventions aimed at stabilizing and enhancing the wild Malayan tiger population. These efforts primarily focus on reducing mortality rates by combating poaching and increasing birth rates by improving prey availability. We invite the management team at Al-Sultan Abdullah Royal Tiger Reserve to create a customized and exclusive company showcase and product listing on our platform to further highlight their vital conservation work.
