Serving five distinct water systems encompassing the City of Big Bear Lake, Moonridge, Sugarloaf, Erwin Lake, Fawnskin, and Lake William, the DWP is committed to service, quality, and community.

This is achieved by maintaining a dependable water source for domestic, commercial, and fire suppression needs. Operating since 1989, the DWP's water supply is sourced exclusively from groundwater. Currently, the DWP manages 31 groundwater wells and 23 slant wells, providing a total capacity of 4,355 gpm to the various water systems in the service area.
