Climate Robotics Network is dedicated to accelerating the responsible and inclusive use of robotics to scale climate action. Through collaborative efforts, Climate Robotics Network addresses crucial questions surrounding the role of robotics in supporting climate initiatives, building a robust evidence base, and identifying key actors and enablers in this space.

Climate Robotics Network is actively involved in tackling significant climate problems that the robotics community should prioritize. The organization focuses on identifying situations where robotics adds value and impact, and conversely, where it may cause harm. Climate Robotics Network also explores advancements needed in robotics to drive more impact and ensures the design and deployment of climate robotics are inclusive and locally-led. Policy changes needed to accelerate the safe, sustainable, and responsible application of robotics in climate are also a key focus.

Located in Lausanne, Vaud, Climate Robotics Network is building a network to collectively address critical questions in climate robotics. The team is organizing an annual Climate Robotics Summit, creating a Global Map of Climate Robotics, launching a White Paper series to build the knowledge base, and creating a Code of Conduct to ensure accountability.
