Artificial Intelligence Gambia Network (AI-GamNet) is dedicated to building a thriving AI ecosystem in The Gambia. AI-GamNet is a non-profit organization focused on promoting knowledge, developing capacity, connecting with Africa, and supporting innovation in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science (DS), and Machine Learning (ML). Located in Kanifing, Kanifing Municipal Council, AI-GamNet is strategically positioned to drive technological advancement and foster collaboration within the region. AI-GamNet consolidates the gains made in growing an AI community in The Gambia through the organization of successful Deep Learning IndabaXs (DLIXs) since 2019. As a national version of the Africa-wide Deep Learning Indaba (DLI) conference, AI-GamNet actively strengthens African AI. The organization actively promotes Africans being active shapers and owners of technological advances.

AI-GamNet spearheads and expands efforts to grow and strengthen the national AI community, allowing more people to contribute to the conversation.
