UKSCA (United Kingdom Strength & Conditioning Association)

The United Kingdom Strength & Conditioning Association (UKSCA) stands as the foremost professional body for strength and conditioning practitioners in the UK. Since its launch in May 2004, with the support of UK Sport, the UKSCA has experienced substantial growth, now representing over 2600 members, with more than 800 achieving the esteemed “Accredited Coach” (ASCC) standard. Operating from its headquarters in Selby, UKSCA is dedicated to elevating professional standards within the strength and conditioning field.

UKSCA is committed to promoting best practices, disseminating knowledge, and fostering research in strength and conditioning. The association facilitates communication among its members and represents their interests, ensuring that world-class coaching is accessible to athletes at all levels throughout the UK. Through its various initiatives, the United Kingdom Strength & Conditioning Association significantly contributes to the advancement of sports and athletic performance.

The UKSCA is a not-for-profit organization managed by a voluntary Board of Directors. The association aims to establish and maintain high professional standards for UK strength and conditioning practitioners and facilities.
