The Black Swimming Association (BSA)

The Black Swimming Association (BSA) is dedicated to diversifying the world of aquatics through its comprehensive SEAR approach: Support, Education, Advocacy, and Research. As a non-profit organization, The Black Swimming Association focuses on making swimming more accessible by supporting swim charities, swim teachers, and grassroots swimming clubs. This support aims to significantly increase access to water for individuals from African, Caribbean, and Asian heritage, removing barriers to participation.

Education is a core tenet of The Black Swimming Association’s mission. By increasing awareness of water safety and the health benefits of aquatics, the BSA works with partners across the aquatic sector to tackle systemic inequalities.
