The Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) stands as a leading force in professional women’s hockey across North America. Since its establishment in 2015, initially known as the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL), the Premier Hockey Federation has been committed to providing elite athletes the opportunity to pursue their passion while driving the sport's continued expansion.

Comprising teams such as the Boston Pride, Buffalo Beauts, Connecticut Whale, Metropolitan Riveters, Minnesota Whitecaps, Montreal Force, and the Toronto Six, the Premier Hockey Federation showcases intense competition, all vying for the coveted Isobel Cup. Through a strategic two-year agreement with ESPN, the Premier Hockey Federation’s 2023-24 season enjoys exclusive live coverage on ESPN+ in the United States, with international rights extending to TSN in Canada.
