Uganda Olympic Committee

The Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC), a representation of the International Olympic Committee, was established in 1950 and gained recognition from the IOC in 1956. As the National Olympic Committee (NOC) recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in accordance with the Olympic Charter, the Uganda Olympic Committee plays a vital role in promoting sports and the Olympic spirit within Uganda.

Located at Plot 2-10 Heskethbell Road, Lugogo Sports Complex, Kampala, 2610, UG, the UOC General Assembly serves as the legislative and highest organ of the Committee. Composed of 33 affiliated member federations/associations, the UOC works diligently to support and advance sports initiatives throughout the nation. The Uganda Olympic Committee is committed to fostering excellence and participation in sports at all levels.
