International Surfing Association (ISA)

The International Surfing Association (ISA) is the World Governing Authority for Surfing, recognized by the International Olympic Committee. Founded in 1964, the International Surfing Association is dedicated to making a better world through surfing, governing various disciplines including Shortboard, Longboard, Bodyboarding, StandUp Paddle (SUP) Racing and Surfing, Para-Surfing, Bodysurfing, Wakesurfing, and all other wave riding activities. The International Surfing Association's primary address is in San Diego, US.

The International Surfing Association boasts a rich history of crowning world champions across different categories, starting with Men’s and Women’s World Champions in 1964.
