As part of the Long-term Europe-Africa Partnership on Renewable Energy (LEAP-RE) program, OPTiMG addresses critical challenges such as energy and water access, economic development, and food security in Africa. The project integrates decentralized renewable energy technologies, including photovoltaics, wind turbines, hydropower, and biogas plants, along with advanced storage systems.

OPTiMG collaborates with esteemed partners to optimize water-energy-food systems across Africa. By leveraging pioneering technologies and demand modeling tools, OPTiMG enhances WEF supply and supports productive uses such as water pumping, irrigation, and agricultural processing.
