The Centre for Integrated Data and Epidemiological Research (CIDER) is a leading research institution dedicated to improving disease prevention and management through multi-disciplinary research. Located at Falmouth Building, Faculty of Health Sciences, Observatory, Cape Town, 7925, ZA, The Centre for Integrated Data and Epidemiological Research (CIDER) has evolved from a research group formed in 2000 to address the burden of HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis in the Western Cape Province. Today, CIDER engages in a broad spectrum of interdisciplinary research and teaching, encompassing surveillance, HIV-prevention clinical trials, clinical epidemiology of tuberculosis and HIV therapy, socio-behavioural studies, and health systems research. The Centre is committed to integrating all health data to strengthen services and epidemiological analyses.
