مرکز تحقیقات علمی دانشجویی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران (SSRC) از زمان تأسیس خود در سال 1372، در خط مقدم ترویج ابتکارات تحقیقاتی به رهبری دانشجویان قرار داشته است. این مرکز بر رویکرد مشارکتی تأکید دارد و دانشجویان را تشویق می کند تا با همکاری در پروژه های بین رشته ای که چالش های دنیای واقعی را حل می کنند، همکاری کنند. مرکز SSRC از طریق کارگاه ها، سمینارها و برنامه های مربیگری، دانشجویان را به ابزارهایی مجهز می کند که برای موفقیت در تلاش های تحقیقاتی خود و تبدیل شدن به رهبران آینده در زمینه های مربوطه نیاز دارند.
