Samen werken aan uitdagend onderwijs en aangepaste zorg voor cognitief sterke leerlingen in Vlaanderen
Project TALENT is dedicated to advancing educational and care practices for cognitively gifted students through comprehensive research services. By focusing on learning, motivation, and well-being, Project TALENT strives to align education and care with the unique needs of these students. Located at Tiensestraat 102 in Leuven, Vlaanderen 3000, BE, Project TALENT is committed to creating awareness among teachers, counselors, and parents about the diverse educational and developmental requirements of cognitively strong learners.
Project TALENT supports professionals in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, educate, guide, and nurture cognitively gifted students. By fostering collaboration among students, parents, teachers, school leaders, teacher training programs, educational support services, and CLBs, Project TALENT ensures a cohesive and supportive environment. The primary goal is to maximize the use of existing structures and channels within education to reach a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
Funded by the Fonds voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek-Vlaanderen (Strategisch Basisonderzoek), Project TALENT is an interuniversity collaboration led by KU Leuven, Universiteit Gent, and Universiteit Antwerpen. Project TALENT actively collaborates with educational umbrellas, Prodia vzw, three teacher training programs (UCLL, Artevelde Hogeschool, Karel de Grote Hogeschool), and the parent association Bekina.
