McCreary Centre Society is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of youth through impactful research and community-driven initiatives. With a strong commitment to understanding and addressing the unique health needs of young people, McCreary Centre Society sponsors and promotes a wide array of activities and research projects. The organization is renowned for the BC Adolescent Health Survey (BC AHS), a significant study conducted every five years in public schools across British Columbia.

McCreary Centre Society not only focuses on large-scale research projects like the BC AHS but also undertakes targeted studies and consultations with youth on specific topics. The organization offers internal evaluations of its projects and provides independent evaluation services for other non-profit agencies, ensuring a collaborative and adaptable approach tailored to meet diverse needs and goals. All tools and methods are meticulously developed with input from stakeholders, including young people, to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

Driven by its mission, McCreary Centre Society empowers youth through its Youth Advisory and Action Council (YAC), providing opportunities for young individuals aged 15-24 to positively impact their communities, connect with peers, and develop leadership skills.
