Operating as the Finland Node of ELIXIR and hosted by CSC - IT Center for Science Ltd., ELIXIR Finland is dedicated to advancing the field of life sciences through collaborative efforts and innovative infrastructure development.

In close partnership with international stakeholders, ELIXIR Finland is committed to developing cutting-edge European life science infrastructure services. As an integral part of ELIXIR, a European intergovernmental organization, ELIXIR Finland contributes to the coordination of vital life science resources across Europe. These resources encompass a wide array of databases, sophisticated software tools, comprehensive training materials, secure cloud storage, and powerful supercomputers.

The overarching goal of ELIXIR is to harmonize these diverse resources into a unified European infrastructure, thereby streamlining the processes for scientists to discover and share data, exchange valuable expertise, and establish best practices.
