CHRC – Comprehensive Health Research Centre is a national center of excellence based in Lisboa, Portugal, dedicated to advancing health research, innovation, and education. Driven by a consortium of healthcare professionals, researchers, academics, patients, and entrepreneurs, CHRC adopts a 360º perspective on health, focusing on health promotion, prevention, rehabilitation, and healthcare services.

CHRC operates through five management units and numerous affiliated institutions across Portugal. The center's primary research areas include health promotion, lifestyles in healthcare, high-burden and high-mortality diseases, and health policies and healthcare services research. These thematic lines are supported by a network of research groups comprising hundreds of dedicated researchers and health professionals.

Located primarily in Lisboa, PT, CHRC ensures researchers have access to a robust support structure. This includes services such as statistics, a biobank, a genetic lab, a technology transfer office, and clinical research device support, all aimed at attracting funding and fostering the development of innovative projects.
