Antimicrobial Resistance and Stewardship Research group, NIMR, is dedicated to advancing research services and developing evidence-based solutions to combat antimicrobial resistance. Since its establishment in 2019, the Antimicrobial Resistance and Stewardship Research group has been at the forefront of efforts to mitigate the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance through comprehensive surveillance and innovative strategies.

The Antimicrobial Resistance and Stewardship Research group specializes in a wide array of critical areas, including infant and under-5 survival strategies, implementation science research, and infectious diseases epidemiology. Through its commitment to research and innovation, the Antimicrobial Resistance and Stewardship Research group actively contributes to AMR and AMS education and awareness, science-to-policy advocacy, and the implementation of effective infection prevention and control strategies.
