RAPAD Power Grid will utilize advanced HVDC technology to enhance the region’s energy infrastructure, featuring 5.2 GW HVDC transmission capacity and 4.2 GW solar generation. The common user battery storage will be optimized for both technical and commercial efficiency, positioning RAPAD Power Grid as the largest and most technologically advanced transmission network in Australia. RAPAD Power Grid aims to meet the energy demands of a Green Energy Superpower outcome for Queensland.
With its vast open plains ideal for large-scale solar, battery, and transmission projects, RAPAD Power Grid is committed to a nature-positive approach.
