As a key entity in public policy, Elected Body serves as a vital link between the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and the ACT Government, ensuring that their needs and views are effectively communicated and addressed.

Located at 169 Goyder St, Narrabundah, Australian Capital Territory 2604, AU, Elected Body operates as a unique and innovative model for self-determination. Established under the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elected Body ACT 2008, the organization consists of 7 elected members supported by a dedicated secretariat. Together, they work to create policies and programs that improve equity, inspire reconciliation, and uplift the community.
