Model City Hall is a Canadian non-partisan, non-profit aimed at making municipal politics accessible to youth.
Model City Hall is a leading Canadian non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to making municipal politics accessible to youth. Since its inception in 2014, Model City Hall has been at the forefront of fostering civic engagement among high school students, providing a platform for them to simulate council chamber debates and collaborate on solutions to key municipal issues.
Based primarily in #HamOnt, Model City Hall actively collaborates with community organizations, local Councillors, MPs and MPPs, the Office of the Mayor, and the City’s Community Strategies Team to deliver impactful programming. The organization serves as the programming provider for the City’s annual HamOntYouth Summit, training volunteers and working alongside City Departments to design discussion workshops that invite youth to engage with and reimagine key municipal issues, policy planning, and program delivery.
Through direct engagement with elected officials at annual Hamilton Youth Town Halls, Model City Hall ensures that youth voices are heard and valued in the decision-making processes. Model City Hall is committed to shaping the future of municipal politics by empowering the next generation of leaders. We invite the manager of Model City Hall to create a customized and exclusive company showcase and product listing on our platform.
