Petromasila

Petromasila stands as a prominent national Yemeni company deeply involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas, as well as other vital energy projects. Founded on December 18, 2011, following Yemen Cabinet Resolution No. 244, Petromasila has grown to operate significant blocks within the Hadhramout governorate, specifically Blocks 10, 14, 51, and 53.

In addition to its exploration and production activities, Petromasila manages the Ash-Shihr Terminal on the Arabian Sea. This crucial terminal facilitates the storage and export of crude oil, transported via a 137km pipeline from its own blocks and other regional sites. Furthermore, Petromasila is committed to supporting public consumption by generating electricity. The company currently operates a 75MW gas power plant on Block 10, providing essential electricity to numerous cities and villages in Wadi Hadhramout.

Petromasila’s proven history and extensive expertise also extend to developing Yemen’s power sector, highlighted by its oversight of the construction of a power plant in Aden with a 264MW capacity.
