These entities collaborate with ten different committees, including Press and Publication, CAS, Computer Society, EMBS, İltek Days, Corporate Development Committee, RLC Days, Promotion Design Committee, Yıldızlı Projects Competition, and WIE committees. Furthermore, IEEE - YTU Student Branch supports two technical teams: CASMarine, focused on Unmanned Underwater Systems, and BIOMECH, dedicated to developing solutions for individuals who have lost limbs.

IEEE - YTU Öğrenci Kolu, çeşitli alanlarda mühendislik uygulamalarını geliştirmeye adanmış, önde gelen kâr amacı gütmeyen teknik bir kuruluştur. 8 Mayıs 2001'deki kuruluşundan bu yana IEEE - YTÜ Öğrenci Kolu, "Sadece Derse Girerek Mühendis Olunmaz!" sloganıyla yenilikçiliği ve pratik deneyimi teşvik etmeye kendini adamıştır.
YTÜ Davutpaşa Kampüsü, Elektrik-Elektronik Fakültesi, B Blok, Zemin Kat, YTÜ IEEE Ofisi İstanbul, Davutpaşa 34220, TR adresinde bulunan IEEE - YTÜ Öğrenci Kolu, Yönetim Kurulu, İdari Kurul ve Denetleme Kurulu'nu içeren dinamik bir yapıyla faaliyet göstermektedir. Bu kuruluşlar, Basın Yayın, CAS, Bilgisayar Topluluğu, EMBS, İltek Günleri, Kurumsal Gelişim Komitesi, RLC Günleri, Tanıtım Tasarım Komitesi, Yıldızlı Projeler Yarışması ve WIE komiteleri dahil olmak üzere on farklı komiteyle işbirliği yapmaktadır. Ayrıca, IEEE - YTÜ Öğrenci Kolu, İnsansız Sualtı Sistemlerine odaklanan CASMarine ve uzuvlarını kaybeden bireyler için çözümler geliştirmeye adanmış BIOMECH olmak üzere iki teknik ekibi desteklemektedir.
IEEE - YTÜ Öğrenci Kolu, üyelerinin bilgili ve proaktif mühendisler olmalarını sağlamayı amaçlamaktadır.
