WiDS Dornbirn

WiDS Dornbirn is dedicated to supporting and advancing women's participation in the field of data science. As an independent regional initiative originating from FHV – Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences, WiDS Dornbirn contributes to the global mission of recognizing and promoting the outstanding achievements of women in data science.

WiDS Dornbirn actively supports the Women in Data Science initiative, which began at Stanford University and has expanded to include over 200 conferences and events worldwide. This includes a global datathon, podcast series, the WiDS Academy offering upskilling workshops, and a Next Gen outreach program. With a strong focus on creating opportunities and fostering growth, WiDS Dornbirn is committed to empowering women in the data science community.

All individuals are encouraged to participate in WiDS events, as WiDS Dornbirn works to build a more inclusive and diverse data science landscape. WiDS Dornbirn's programs reach over 150,000 participants annually across more than 160 countries. The organization continues to collaborate with Stanford while operating as a fiscally sponsored project under Community Initiatives.
