The West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) is dedicated to strengthening civil society across West Africa. Established in 2005, WACSI focuses on reinforcing the institutional and operational capacities of civil society organizations throughout the sub-region.

WACSI’s mission is to enhance the ability of Civil Society Organizations to engage effectively in policy intervention and promote democratic values and principles. Serving as a vital resource center, The West Africa Civil Society Institute provides training, facilitates research, encourages experience sharing, and promotes dialogue for CSOs in West Africa. WACSI’s regional focus includes countries such as Liberia, Nigeria, Togo, Benin, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, and Senegal.
