TransBIB is dedicated to making technologies, knowledge, and skills in the bio-based economy accessible to a broad range of users. Over the next three years, TransBIB is developing a 'One-Stop-Shop' for the industrial bioeconomy. The aim is to accelerate the transfer and scaling of bioeconomic innovations into industrial applications. TransBIB supports the transformation process towards circular economy processes based on regenerative, renewable carbons.
TransBIB is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) in the 'Industrial Bioeconomy' program with a total of over 5.5 million euros. TransBIB hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, Technologien, Wissen und Kompetenzen der biobasierten Wirtschaft einem breiten Nutzerkreis zugänglich zu machen. Die Organisation bietet Unternehmen, Forschungseinrichtungen, Netzwerken und Wissensträgern eine Plattform, um sich zu vernetzen, Technologien zu transferieren und Kooperationen anzubahnen. TransBIB vernetzt Akteure der industriellen Bioökonomie bundesweit, führt verschiedene Modellregionen zusammen und bündelt in ganz Deutschland vorhandenes Fachwissen.
In den nächsten drei Jahren entwickelt TransBIB einen „One-Stop-Shop“ für die industrielle Bioökonomie. Ziel ist es, den Transfer und die Skalierung bioökonomischer Innovationen in die industrielle Anwendung zu beschleunigen. TransBIB unterstützt den Transformationsprozess hin zu kreislaufwirtschaftlichen Prozessen auf der Basis von regenerativen, erneuerbaren Kohlenstoffen.
TransBIB wird vom Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz (BMWK) im Programm „Industrielle Bioökonomie“ mit insgesamt über 5,5 Millionen Euro gefördert.
