The Yard

The Yard is an award-winning Scottish charity dedicated to providing adventure play services and comprehensive family support for disabled children, young people, and their families. Since 1986, The Yard Edinburgh has been a cornerstone of support for local families, offering creative and adventurous play experiences in a nurturing environment. The Yard has since expanded, opening locations in Dundee in 2015 and Fife in 2016.

The Yard's family sessions are designed to foster play, build friendships, and create fun memories, while also providing parents, carers, and siblings with valuable information, advice, and support. With a commitment to inclusivity and well-being, The Yard also offers specialized play sessions for schools, early years groups, and youth clubs. Additionally, The Yard provides a range of play and disability training courses for parents and professionals, all based from its flagship Edinburgh center at Primary: 22 Eyre Place Lane, Edinburgh, EH3 5EH, GB; and with additional sites at 14 Drumlanrig Place, Mid Craigie, Dundee, DD4 8HZ, GB and Argos Centre, Appin Crescent, Kirkcaldy, KY2 6EJ, GB.
