Tanzania Women in Coffee (TaWoCa) is a prominent non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women in the coffee industry. As an independent and legally organized entity, Tanzania Women in Coffee (TaWoCa) maintains a strong national identity while aligning with the global IWCA network. Registered on April 3, 2013, Tanzania Women in Coffee (TaWoCa) operates under a Letter of Understanding with the International Women's Coffee Alliance.

The leadership of Tanzania Women in Coffee (TaWoCa) is guided by a committee of nine board members, elected every three years during the Annual General Meeting (AGM). This structure ensures democratic governance and member participation. The association is chaired by a Chapter Chairperson, supported by a Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, and Treasurer. The AGM serves as a crucial platform to discuss progress, address challenges, and plan future activities, with elections conducted via secret ballot to ensure fairness and transparency.
