The Southern Africa Youth Forum (SAYoF_SADC) is a dynamic regional development platform dedicated to empowering youth across the SADC region. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders such as the SADC Secretariat, SADC-PF, SADC-CNGO, the African Union Youth Division, national governments, and SAT, Southern Africa Youth Forum (SAYoF_SADC) strives to ensure sustainable inclusion of young people in regional developmental processes. Located in Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA, Southern Africa Youth Forum (SAYoF_SADC) is at the forefront of fostering youth-centered solutions and driving impactful change throughout Southern Africa.

Southern Africa Youth Forum (SAYoF_SADC) is the official convener of the SADC Youth Forum, the largest youth gathering in Southern Africa. This significant event is convened before the SADC Heads of State and Government Summit, providing a crucial platform for co-creating solutions and ensuring youth perspectives are integrated into regional and national development strategies. Southern Africa Youth Forum (SAYoF_SADC) also convenes the SADC Youth Parliament, a vital regional policy advocacy, engagement arm, and leadership mentorship program that includes Members of Parliament from all 16 member countries.

As a key player on the global stage, Southern Africa Youth Forum (SAYoF_SADC) actively participates in the Global Coalition for Youth, Peace, and Security, a UN-CSOs partnership focused on advancing youth involvement in peace initiatives. The organization also holds a position in the Dengue Advisory Group, an international committee dedicated to combating Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). Furthermore, Southern Africa Youth Forum (SAYoF_SADC) was appointed by the African Union (AU) to the Africa Youth Front on Covid-19, a high-level policy and advocacy framework that enables young people to co-lead Africa’s response to the pandemic. Southern Africa Youth Forum (SAYoF_SADC) continues to make significant contributions as a Co-Convener for the African Youth Commission on AfCFTA and represents Africa in the CPDE Youth Sector.
