Southern Africa Federation of the Disabled - SAFOD is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to unlocking an inclusive society for persons with disabilities across the Southern Africa region. Established in 1986, Southern Africa Federation of the Disabled - SAFOD coordinates the activities of organizations of Persons with Disabilities (DPOs) in ten countries: Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Based in Gaborone, Southern Africa Federation of the Disabled - SAFOD operates with the mission to advocate for the rights of Persons with Disabilities while nurturing and strengthening its affiliates and other stakeholders in Southern Africa.
