Society for Community Organization

The Society for Community Organization (SoCO) is a dedicated non-profit committed to poverty relief and advocating for civic rights. Established in 1972, the Society for Community Organization serves the most underprivileged in Hong Kong, striving to develop a caring, equal, and just society. The Society for Community Organization addresses critical needs within the community.

Located at 52 Princess Margaret Road, 3/F, Homantin, Kowloon, HK (Primary address), with additional locations at 1/F, 117 Kweilin Street, Sham Shu Po, Kowloon, HK; 1B/F, Hai Tan Building, 149 Hai Tan Street, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon, HK; and 4/F Posco Building, 165 Un Chau Street, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon, Hong Kong, the Society for Community Organization works tirelessly to support cage and cubicle dwellers, the single elderly, new immigrant women, children living in poverty, street-sleepers, people with mental illness, low-paid workers, refugees, and ethnic minorities.

Through various avenues, the Society for Community Organization facilitates grassroots citizens to speak out, ensuring their voices are heard and lobbying for policy changes. The organization provides a wide array of supportive services, all aimed at fostering a more equitable society.
