Soar Valley u3a is a vibrant non-profit organization dedicated to providing enriching educational, creative, and leisure opportunities for individuals no longer in full-time employment. Serving the communities around East Leake, Normanton on Soar, Sutton Bonington, Rempstone, Costock, West Leake, Barton in Fabis, Gotham, Bunny and Kegworth, Soar Valley u3a fosters a welcoming environment for retired, semi-retired, and part-time working individuals to connect, learn, and explore new interests.

With a wide array of activities, Soar Valley u3a offers something for everyone. From photography and crafting to singing and snooker, members can engage in diverse pursuits that cater to various passions. The organization also encourages physical activity through table tennis, dancing, walking, croquet, cycling, and bowls, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Soar Valley u3a’s commitment to intellectual stimulation is evident in its offerings of crosswords, history, science & technology, sewing, bird watching, and even French language studies.

Established in 1999, Soar Valley u3a continues to thrive as a self-help organization, empowering its members to learn, share, and grow together.
