Simba's Footprints Foundation

Simba's Footprints Foundation is dedicated to unlocking youth potential through creative programming and community-driven solutions. Serving over 700 children in the Kilimanjaro region, Simba's Footprints Foundation operates as a registered Tanzanian NGO, registration number 07/NGO/08401. Originating as a children’s home in 2011 with a focus on sustainable family reunification, the foundation evolved into Simbas Community Center in 2017.

Adopting a Community-Led Development approach, Simba’s Footprints Foundation champions locally-led initiatives, recognizing their enhanced sustainability due to community member involvement. Since 2017, leadership has been transitioning back to the local team, ensuring that expansion ideas, programming, and solutions originate from the ground up. The board provides comprehensive support through resources, professional development, and funding to ensure program success.
