Service Volontaire International (SVI) offers young people aged 16-35, among others, the opportunity to collectively invest in socially beneficial civic activities by joining volunteer projects in Belgium or abroad. These collective projects, initiated by local non-profit associations, are collaboratively organized and bring together between 5 and 20 young individuals from diverse geographical and social backgrounds. These projects span a minimum duration of 15 days and can extend over several months in collective boarding, covering a variety of themes, including social, environmental, cultural, children's activities, renovation, archeology, and seminars. La mission principale du Service Volontaire International (SVI) consiste à préparer, envoyer et accueillir de jeunes volontaires dans des projets internationaux mis en place par des organisations locales à but non lucratif. Le SVI permet aux jeunes francophones de s'engager dans environ 550 projets associatifs et civiques dans plus de 70 pays à travers le monde. Chaque année, environ 500 volontaires, préalablement préparés, contribuent à des associations locales à but non lucratif dans le monde entier. Le Service Volontaire International (SVI) offre aux jeunes de 16 à 35 ans, entre autres, la possibilité de s'investir collectivement dans des activités civiques d'utilité sociale en rejoignant des projets de volontariat en Belgique ou à l'étranger. Ces projets collectifs, initiés par des associations locales à but non lucratif, sont organisés en collaboration et réunissent entre 5 et 20 jeunes de divers horizons géographiques et sociaux.
