Save The Slum Initiative

Save The Slum Initiative is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to revitalizing communities and ending poverty. With a strong focus on WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Health, Protection, and Livelihood, Save The Slum Initiative implements impactful projects across South West, North Central, and North East Nigeria.

Operating from its primary address at 23 Kololori Street Off NNPC Depot, Maiduguri, Borno, NG, and with an additional location at 13 Agoro street off Orilowi Abaranje okerube Ikotun Lagos, 23401, Ikotun 23401, NG, Save The Slum Initiative actively contributes to various initiatives, including Menstrual Hygiene Management, Covid-19 Prevention Response, and hygiene promotion activities across Borno State. The organization is also engaged in cholera prevention projects and supports the distribution of NFIs (Non-Food Items) to vulnerable populations.

Established in 2017, Save The Slum Initiative has built a solid reputation through collaborations with UNICEF, IOM, and the WASH Sector Working Group.
