Real Food CT

Real Food CT is dedicated to connecting locally grown, healthy food with individuals and families who need it most. Since its inception in 2019, Real Food CT has been committed to building a resilient regional food system that supports local farmers and ensures fresh, nutrient-rich food reaches food-insecure households. Operating from its primary address in Newtown, CT 06470, US, Real Food CT delivers over 100,000 pounds of fresh produce annually to more than 20 food pantries, spanning from Bridgeport to Danbury.

Through its dynamic programs, including two production farms, a seasonal internship program, and school and youth gardening initiatives, Real Food CT fosters collaborative and scalable food system change. The organization is actively developing food hub infrastructure to strengthen farm-to-pantry distribution and advocate for systemic solutions rooted in equity, sustainability, and public health. Real Food CT is a leader in creating impactful change within the community.
