Located in Karachi, Sindh, at Sachal Hall, Ibrahim Hyderi, Bin Qasim Town, Karachi, Sindh 75190, PK, Pakistan Fisherfolk Forum addresses a wide array of issues impacting approximately 4 million fishers in Pakistan. These include advocating for sustainable fisheries policies, banning deep-sea trawlers, preventing the depletion of natural resources, protecting resources from destructive nets, and supporting the release and rehabilitation of detained fishers. The Pakistan Fisherfolk Forum is also committed to abolishing contract systems on inland water bodies, establishing license systems, restoring the Indus Delta, and advancing the socioeconomic and political rights of fishers.
