The Ontario Native Women's Association (ONWA) stands as a powerful advocate and support system for Indigenous women and their families throughout Ontario. Established in 1971, ONWA delivers culturally enriched programs and services to Indigenous women and their families, focusing on research, advocacy, policy development, and both local and provincial initiatives. ONWA is dedicated to strengthening communities and preserving Indigenous culture, identity, art, language, and heritage.

With a vision to be a unified voice promoting equity, equality, and justice, the Ontario Native Women's Association addresses critical issues such as ending violence against Indigenous women, ensuring equal access to justice, education, health services, environmental stewardship, and fostering economic development.
