National Health Corps

National Health Corps (NHC) is dedicated to fostering healthy communities by connecting individuals in need with vital health and wellness resources. Operating as an AmeriCorps service program under The Health Federation of Philadelphia, National Health Corps is committed to developing compassionate health leaders for tomorrow.

With a focus on addressing critical public health challenges, National Health Corps members contribute significantly to initiatives that combat the opioid crisis, support older adults' independence and well-being, and promote improved nutrition and physical activity to reduce obesity and chronic conditions. The organization's primary address is 1211 Chestnut Street, Suite 801, Philadelphia, PA 19107, US, with additional locations including Jacksonville, Florida; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Chicago, Illinois; and San Francisco, California.
