Julkis-muotoilijat is a vibrant community dedicated to enhancing design impact and capabilities within the Finnish government. Founded in 2017, Julkis-muotoilijat fosters collaboration and offers a dynamic platform for peer learning and knowledge sharing among its members.
Julkis-muotoilijat serves over 500 members from more than 150 government organizations. Through weekly online meet-ups, events, and a collaborative Facebook group, Julkis-muotoilijat strengthens the network of designers and civil servants. The organization focuses on service design, design thinking, and strategic design to drive innovation and efficiency in public service.
Operating primarily from Finland, Julkis-muotoilijat is also an active part of the International Design in Government community and collaborates academically with the Aalto Design for Government program. Julkis-muotoilijat is committed to developing and promoting best practices in government design.
