IFMSA - Bahrain is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to empowering medical students and addressing critical health issues. With a rich history dating back to the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA) founded in 1951, IFMSA - Bahrain connects and engages with medical students through conferences, workshops, and various impactful events. Operating from its primary address in Manama, Bahrain, the organization supports aspiring medical students during their training years, fostering a collaborative environment for growth and development.

IFMSA - Bahrain is comprised of three standing committees: SCOME (Standing Committee on Medical Education), SCOPH (Standing Committee on Public Health), and SCORP (Standing Committee on Human Rights and Peace). SCOME is dedicated to enhancing medical students' knowledge and perspectives, focusing on medical education systems, ethics, equality, and geriatric medicine. SCOPH promotes public health awareness and skills through international knowledge sharing, project management, and community-based learning. SCORP unites students to advocate for an equal and peaceful world through international solidarity.
