ICROSS (International Community for the Relief Of Starvation and Suffering) is dedicated to reducing disease, suffering, and poverty among the most vulnerable populations through sustainable, self-supporting local programs. Working in partnership with civil society organizations, governmental bodies, and international agencies, ICROSS implements projects rooted in the values and beliefs of the communities it serves, fostering self-reliance and long-term positive change.

With a history dating back to 1979, ICROSS initially focused on pastoral communities in East Africa and has since expanded its reach to support vulnerable communities across Kenya, particularly in areas affected by HIV/AIDS. The organization provides technical and material support to a wide network of national, local, and international NGOs, with a core focus on endangered pastoral communities in Kenya’s Rift Valley.
