Global Schools Prize

Global Schools Prize is a distinguished non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing and celebrating outstanding schools that are at the forefront of reimagining the future of education. As a Varkey Foundation initiative, Global Schools Prize builds upon the successes of the Global Teacher Prize and Global Student Prize, honoring schools as institutions of innovation and impact.

Global Schools Prize acknowledges the significant contributions of schools across vital areas, including AI transformation, sustainability, teacher development, the arts, global citizenship, and more. Recognized schools receive a Global Schools Prize Badge and entry into the Global Schools Network, fostering global collaboration and new partnerships. An exceptional school will be named the overall Global Schools Prize winner and awarded $500,000 to further scale its impact, while the ten category winners will each receive $50,000.
