The Global Jamaica Diaspora Youth Council (GJDYC) is dedicated to connecting, engaging, and empowering Jamaican youth worldwide. Established by the Jamaican Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the GJDYC focuses on organizing and mobilizing youth of Jamaican heritage in the Diaspora to contribute to Jamaica’s development.
With a strong presence in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Jamaica, the Global Jamaica Diaspora Youth Council boasts hundreds of global members. These members are actively working to advance the interests of Jamaicans in their respective communities and on the island itself. The GJDYC plays a crucial role in fostering diaspora relations and supporting the National Diaspora Policy, working closely with MFAFT.
