Equal Trade Alliance (ETA) is dedicated to fostering a more equitable world through its focused initiatives in trade policy and sustainable development. Based in Addis Ababa, ET, the organization is deeply committed to reshaping trade systems related to African raw materials. Equal Trade Alliance engages youth, experts, and various stakeholders to achieve its goals, advocating for policies that align with global sustainable development agendas. The primary objective is to promote equal redistribution of wealth along the value chains of African raw materials and natural resources.

Equal Trade Alliance's vision is to lead the eradication of poverty in Africa. ETA envisions a world characterized by an equitable distribution of wealth, equal representation of stakeholders in commodity value chains, and respect for cultural diversity. Equal Trade Alliance addresses unequal trade relationships between African countries and their international trade partners through awareness creation, academic research, and advocacy at national, regional, and global levels.

Equal Trade Alliance is an NGO that advocates for the adoption of the Equal Trade Certification, enabling African countries and producers to benefit financially from (semi-)finished products made from African raw materials. Located in Addis Ababa, ET, Equal Trade Alliance is actively working towards a just world where no one is dominated or entitled to dominate others.
