DEU EMT, kişisel ve akademik gelişimi desteklemeye adanmış, önde gelen bir kar amacı gütmeyen kuruluştur. İlk olarak 1997 yılında Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Endüstri Mühendisliği Bölümü öğrencileri tarafından kurulan DEU EMT, üyeleri için sürekli olarak değerli kaynaklar ve fırsatlar sağlamıştır.
DEU EMT, seminerler, konferanslar, vaka çalışmaları, şirket ziyaretleri ve mesleki ve kişisel gelişim eğitim programları dahil olmak üzere çeşitli etkinlikler aracılığıyla misyonunu gerçekleştirmektedir. İzmir, TR'de bulunan kuruluş, topluluk üzerindeki etkisini artırarak ve kapsamını genişleterek sosyal sorumluluk projelerinde aktif olarak yer almaktadır.
Diğer üniversitelerdeki öğrencilerle bağlantı kurma konusundaki güçlü taahhüdüyle DEU EMT, çeşitli öğrenci organizasyonlarına ve etkinliklerine aktif olarak katılmaktadır.
