Since its establishment in 2017, CECI Uganda has been committed to empowering refugees and youth through innovative programs in peacebuilding, education, livelihood, and environmental sustainability. CECI Uganda equips individuals with the necessary tools to prevent and transform conflicts, build resilience, and create sustainable livelihoods, fostering a peaceful and self-reliant community. CECI Uganda focuses on several key programmatic areas, including promoting peaceful dispute resolution, enhancing social cohesion through media literacy and community outreach, and providing trauma healing and peace education. In education, CECI Uganda champions girl child education and early childhood development through menstrual hygiene management, advocacy, and educational radio programs. The organization also supports livelihood development by providing income-generating activities, technological empowerment for girls, and vocational and entrepreneurial training.
