Carpathian Foundation

The Carpathian Foundation is dedicated to fostering robust community development and cross-border cooperation, primarily supporting non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and local self-governments (LSGs). Operating extensively within the Hungarian part of the Carpathian Euroregion, including Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Hajdú-Bihar, Heves, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg counties, the Carpathian Foundation encourages collaborative efforts across non-profit, governmental, and profit-oriented sectors.

Located at 53 Felveg, Eger, Heves 3300, HU, the Carpathian Foundation focuses on key areas such as human resource development, the preservation of cultural and environmental values, and social integration. Through its various programs and projects, the Foundation aims to reinforce social consciousness and strengthen regional identity by promoting the unique values inherent to the region. With a strong history of grant-making and programmatic activities, the Carpathian Foundation continues to support local development initiatives, disadvantaged rural areas, and vulnerable groups, while also raising social awareness and supporting disadvantaged youth.
