Black Geographers

Black Geographers is dedicated to supporting the next generation of geographers and geoscientists. Formed as a collective of Black geography students and graduates, Black Geographers addresses the barriers that prevent Black students from studying geography and works to combat the isolation experienced within the field.

Through collaborative efforts, Black Geographers not only encourages more Black students to pursue geography but also strives to transform the discipline, making it more engaging and inclusive at every level of education. The organization provides valuable resources, mentoring, networking, and internship opportunities to students and academics.
