Asia Pacific Bioinformatics Network (APBioNET) is dedicated to fostering the growth of bioinformatics in the Asia Pacific region. Since its establishment in January 1998, APBioNET has been committed to advancing bioinformatics through the development of network infrastructure, facilitating the exchange of data and information, and creating comprehensive training programs, workshops, and symposia. Furthermore, Asia Pacific Bioinformatics Network (APBioNET) collaborates with the Asia-Pacific International Molecular Biology Network (A-IMBN) to promote bioinformatics skills among biologists. APBioNET sponsors and co-organizes various workshops and conferences, including the International Conference on Bioinformatics (InCOB’02) in Thailand. With pioneering outreach programs featuring visits and training workshops in numerous locations, APBioNET continues to be a driving force in the advancement of bioinformatics across the Asia Pacific region.
